Twenty years ago, Bhangra Empire began as a dream—just a small group of dancers coming together with a shared love for music, culture, and community. None of us could have imagined the journey that lay ahead. What started as late-night practices, borrowed spaces, and the simple joy of performing quickly grew into something far greater: a family, a movement, and a legacy that has touched audiences across the world.
Over the past two decades, we’ve celebrated unforgettable milestones—from international competitions and NBA halftime shows to the worlds most prestigious stages. Along the way, we’ve built more than just routines—we’ve built lifelong friendships, countless memories, and a community that continues to inspire.
Now, as we celebrate 20 incredible years, we invite you to join us in Waikiki for a weekend of reflection, reconnection, and celebration. Together, we’ll honor our roots, share the stories that shaped us, and dance into the future with the same passion that started it all.

When to Arrive
Plan to arrive by Thursday, January 15th for our welcome dinner. Events and activities will begin on Friday and run through Sunday with the reunion event begin held on the evening of Saturday January 17th.
When to Leave
The reunion runs through the evening of Sunday, January18th.
Best departure date: Monday, January 19th (to enjoy the full closing night and travel home the next day).
Pro Tips
Book flights early—January is peak travel season for Hawaii.
Consider adding a day or two before/after to explore Oahu beyond Waikiki (North Shore beaches, hikes, cultural sites).
Shuttles, rideshares, and taxis are widely available from HNL to Waikiki hotels.

This will be the central hub for all reunion activities, so you’ll be right where the action is.
